The new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 is the first device of its kind to incorporate one of these panels, equivalent to the LCD but with better contrast, brightness, and color.

This is a convertible with a 13.3-inch panel and FullHD resolution. For the first time in a Chromebook, Samsung incorporates a QLED panel, an alternative to AMOLED panels.
It is a rather stylish device, weighing 1.23 kilograms and 13.9 millimeters thick. Built-in aluminum and with a backlit keyboard, Samsung also incorporates two 5W stereo speakers to provide sound beyond the most basic devices.
Inside the Galaxy Chromebook 2, there is a tenth generation Intel Core i3 or an Intel Celeron 5205U, depending on the market. There are also several models, some with 4 GB and others with 8 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Chromebook 2 offers WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, while at port level there are two USB-Cs, a MicroSD slot, and a 3.5mm jack. The battery is 45.5 Wh, although the company does not specify the number of hours of battery life it will achieve.
Beyond the touch panel, Chromebook 2 is compatible with USI electronic sticks and supports up to 4096 levels of sensitivity.

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 will be available in two colors, one model with red housing and another with a dark gray. The base model with Intel Celeron and 4 GB of RAM starts at $549, while the version with the Intel Core i3, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage will be available for $699.
