OPPO is launching today. The Chinese company has just presented in society its two flagships, the OPPO Find X5 and X5 Pro, and its new mid-range device, the OPPO Find X5 Lite.
It is a smartphone that, while it is true that it is not as powerful as its siblings, seeks to offer a more premium experience for less than €500. Having made the introductions, let’s get to know it a little better.

OPPO’s most ambitious mid-range

The OPPO Find X5 Lite retains the aesthetics that we saw in the OPPO Find X3 Lite (remember that there was no X4 family). In that way, the device bets on a simple and colorful rear with a camera module that, this time, drops the monochrome sensor. In short, three cameras instead of four.
The device incorporates the fingerprint sensor under the display. That’s possible thanks to its panel technology, a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and 90 Hz refresh rate that, as expected, is perforated in the upper left corner to house the front camera.

And what’s under the hood? Well, if the Find X5 two mount the latest high-end solutions from Qualcomm, the Find X5 Lite mounts the MediaTek Dimensity 900, a six-nanometer SoC at a maximum speed of 2.4 GHz. It is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, this being the only version available.
All this is brought to life by ColorOS 12, OPPO’s customization layer that this time runs on Android 12, and a 4,500 mAh battery that, while it is true that it does not exceed that 5,000 mAh barrier, does offer 65W fast charging. All this, of course, is completed with 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, and NFC.

Finally, and in terms of photography, it is worth noting that the OPPO Find X5 Lite drops the Marisilicon X chip, the NPU developed by OPPO. However, it mounts a 64-megapixel main sensor, an eight-megapixel wide-angle, and a two-megapixel macro. Unlike the Find X3 Lite, there is no monochrome sensor. For selfies, a front camera of no more and no less than 32 megapixels.
Pricing and Availability of the OPPO Find X5 Lite
