Huawei continues to bet on wearables. The Chinese company has brought to our borders the Huawei Watch GT 3, its new and peculiar lipstick-shaped headphones Huawei FreeBuds Lipsticks, and, finally, the Huawei Watch Fit mini.
As its name suggests, it is a compact version of the Huawei Watch Fit (which also received a “New” version recently). It is priced at €99 and can be purchased now in white, brown, and purple. Introductions done, let’s see what this new watch has to offer.

The Huawei bracelet, now smaller
In essence, the Huawei Watch Fit mini is a more compact version of the Huawei Watch Fit. As such, it is quite a bit smaller and a gram lighter. It is essentially the same in terms of design, as it is still a very elongated watch that stands out for its display.
This has also been trimmed in both size and resolution. If the Huawei Watch Fit (New) has a 1.64-inch panel with 456 x 280 pixels resolution, the mini version is left with a 1.47-inch AMOLED panel and 194 x 386 pixels, which translates into 282 pixels per inch (not bad for this size).
The device is capable of receiving notifications and calls from the mobile, but cannot answer them (since it has no microphone, to put it mildly). It also includes 96 sports modes among which are the classics, such as running, cycling, or rowing machine, to others such as yoga, pilates, ball sports, or extreme sports.
The watch features TruSeen 4.0 technology to monitor heart rate, as well as a SpO2 sensor that works in real-time, TruSleep (to monitor sleep), and TruRelax (to monitor stress). Notably, it also has a menstrual cycle tracking system.
As for the battery, Huawei has not disclosed the battery amperage but claims that the watch is capable of lasting up to 14 days with “typical” use and up to 10 days with “intensive” use. It is charged wirelessly.
