The new Honor 50, 50 SE, and 50 Pro 5G look like a clone of the Huawei P50 that Richar Yu (CEO of Huawei) showed, with that peculiar camera module.
However, it should be noted that Honor disassociated itself from Huawei to have Google services, although as we will now see in its features Magic UI is still the customization layer (which was based on EMUI). Be that as it may, it is a triple launch of mid-range mobiles, with 5G and in some cases with curved panels.

Honor 50 SE

The aesthetics are almost common to all three models, opting for glossy backs and debuting the design of the camera module that we mentioned earlier. It is two circles that integrate, respectively, the main camera on one side and the rest of the lenses on the other.
The Honor 50 “base” screen is an IPS type of 6.78 inches, with FullHD+ resolution. Unlike the others, it has straight edges and no curvature. Of course, being IPS, the reader is on the side.

This is the most content of the new Honor 50 family having the MediaTek Dimensity 900, which gives it 5G connectivity. It has a single version of 8 GB and 128 GB of storage.
In terms of battery, the Honor 50 SE offers a 4,000 mAh battery, with 66-watt fast charging. It arrives with Android 11 and Magic UI, and also includes a headphone jack, USB C, and, obviously, 5G.

At the camera level, Honor has opted for a 100-megapixel main sensor. As secondary cameras, we see a wide-angle 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And the front camera is left with a 16-megapixel sensor.
Honor 50 and 50 Pro

Both mobiles feature an OLED panel with curved sides with a 20:9 ratio and FullHD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), although of different diagonal. The Honor 50 has a 6.57-inch screen and the Honor 50 Pro has a slightly larger 6.72-inch screen.
Unlike the previous one, the refresh rate on the 50 and 50 Pro reaches 120 Hz and the screen integrates the fingerprint reader. On the front, there is a more Huawei P40 Pro-style islet in the case of the Honor 50 Pro, since it has two front cameras.

Part of the similarities is also on the inside, with a Snapdragon 778G 5G for both. They also feature WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
There are two RAM options here, with 8GB and 12GB. For the Honor 50, there are two versions in terms of storage, with 128 and 256 GB, and the Honor 50 Pro only has 256 GB.

In batteries there is a difference in terms of capacity, but not in fast charging. The Honor 50 has a 4,300 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and the Honor 50 Pro integrates a 4,000 mAh with fast charging of 100W.
There is also a tie in the rear cameras with a 108-megapixel sensor and f/1.9 aperture lens. There are no surprises in terms of the composition of the three rear cameras because the secondary ones are a wide-angle with an 8-megapixel f/2.2 sensor and two cameras (macro and depth) with 2-megapixel sensor each.

However, on the front, there is a difference that also translates into the design. The Honor 50 has a single front camera with a 32-megapixel sensor, while the Honor 50 Pro differs, as we said, with a dual front camera, with sensors of 32 and 12 megapixels (with a super wide-angle lens for the second).
