One of the great advantages of Zoom over other conference services is that it allows you to create meetings with up to 100 participants. The time limit on the Basic subscription will be 40 minutes. All other subscriptions have no time limit and even allow you to increase this figure to 300, 500 or even 1000 participants. The company’s roadmap is as follows:
- Basic: up to 100 participants.
- Pro: up to 100 participants.
- Business: up to 300 participants
- Enterprise: up to 500 participants in the Standard version and up to 1,000 participants in the Plus version.
To benefit from a greater number of participants in each of the subscriptions, a complimentary subscription will have to be taken out to allow this number to be increased.
Do I need to Register on Zoom to Join a Video Call?
Not really. If the host provides you with the access key to the video call, you will be able to access it without any account or email. However, you can do so via this link.
In contrast, creating a meeting requires at least one Zoom account. The rest of the participants do not require an account, although they will not be able to enjoy all the benefits of the application.
Is Zoom Safe and Reliable?

Can I join a Video Call if I don’t have a Camera or Microphone?
