Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite: Features, Reviews, and Prices

They are not as flashy or as lofty, but the Lite models are often particularly noteworthy for providing a remarkable balance between price and performance.

The new Xiaomi Mi 10T-Lite aspires to do just that and certainly makes very reasonable sacrifices to become a very well-planned affordable mid-range that also has very eye-catching features such as its 120Hz display and 5G connectivity support, which is especially remarkable considering its price.

This new handset features a remarkable specification sheet with a featured figure: the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G that debuts with the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite.

This processor is manufactured with 8-nanometer lithography, has 8 cores, an Adreno 619 GPU, and above all has integrated 5G connectivity, something that will allow mid-range terminals to begin to stand out for supporting 5G networks and bring this technology closer to more and more users.

There are other outstanding options, of course: the 120 Hz screen with AdaptativeSync – the real refresh rate will depend on the use scale – is the main feature, as well as keeping the bet on features very appreciated by users such as the microSD slot or the NFC connectivity.

The 3.5 mm connector is missing, but on the sound side, this is compensated for by the dual speakers and the Hi-Res audio support.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite

The traditional confusion generated by Xiaomi with its huge catalog of smartphones is going to get a little more complicated with this new device that curiously departs from the design lines and is very different from its big brothers, the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro in the rear design.

The difference lies in the camera module, which is rectangular in those models but here takes on a hybrid format: the camera set is rectangular, but is integrated into a circular module that is remarkably reminiscent of the recent Poco X3 NFC.

The similarities go further and like this the screen diagonal of 6.67 inches at 120 Hz in 20:9 format and that front camera in “hole” mode on the screen that, of course, has reduced dimensions.

There are also design features that share both, as with the side fingerprint reader or the dimensions of height and width: the thickness is greater in the Poco (9.4 mm compared to 9 mm of the Mi 10T Lite), but in return, it loses a little battery: from the 5160 mAh of the Poco X3 NFC to 4820 mAh. The weight, surprisingly, is almost identical, 215 grams compared to 214.5 grams of the 10T Lite.

The appearance of this handset is therefore very similar to what has become the “bargain phone” of the year, and here perhaps Xiaomi offers us a variant with many similarities and with a fundamental difference, 5G connectivity thanks to the debut of that Snapdragon 750G from Qualcomm that provides that connectivity as standard.

This is something like a “Poco X3 NFC 5G” that has had some of its photographic sensors or battery cut out, but even with USB-C, NFC, and infrared ports, it still loses its headphone connector.
