For lovers of large mobiles, Honor has a new model that meets this description and is placed in a mid-range price range. The Honor X30 Max is a new device from a Chinese manufacturer. A smartphone where the size of its screen, stereo speakers, and a generous battery stand out to be at the height of what its screen, just over 7 inches, can demand.
These are the features of the Honor X30 Max, already presented in China and that can become an interesting option for those who are not looking to spend a lot but do want to enjoy what years ago used to be called a ‘phablet’.

Reduced bezels to place the giant 7.09″ screen

The Honor X30 Max comes with a 7.09-inch LCD panel. It doesn’t particularly stand out for its quality, but it does offer FullHD+ resolution and reaches a maximum brightness of 780 nits under sunlight. The device is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and offers HDR10 support for displaying HDR10 videos.
The body is 9.2 millimeters thick and 174 millimeters tall. It is a good-sized mobile, but the years to compact the screen are noticeable. In comparison, the 2018 Xiaomi Mi Max 3 had a 6.9-inch panel and measured 176 mm. The Honor X30 Max has a 90% ratio.

Inside the device, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, which offers 5G connectivity, is manufactured in 6 nanometers, and would come to compete with the Snapdragon 768. Accompanying it is 8 GB of RAM and two storage versions with 128 and 256 GB.
For the battery, it incorporates a 5,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, there are NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.1. In terms of software, this Honor X30 Max comes with Android 11 and the MagicUI customization layer. Having been presented in China it does not have Google services, but remember that Honor has returned to Europe with its Honor 50 and does offer them.

In the sound section, there are dual stereo speakers that promise a volume of up to 78 decibels. There is a fingerprint reader on the side and in photography, there is a 64-megapixel main sensor along with a two-megapixel depth sensor. Located in the ‘notch’ in the shape of a water drop is the 8-megapixel front camera.
