What Redmi is to Xiaomi applies both in mobile and computers. Back in 2019, they started the Redmi line of computers to stand up to the HONOR MagicBook 14 of the moment and we have continued to see models of various sizes inheriting features such as design or NVIDIA graphics, as we see in the new Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 (2021).
Thus, the brand has updated the 15-inch model to integrate the 11th generation of Intel processors, since the previous ones were left on the 10th generation. The brand continues to focus on simplicity in aesthetics and this time the screen has a 3.2K resolution.

For Redmi, FullHD is no longer “Pro”.
It seems that Xiaomi has insisted on establishing a style and that its laptops form a whole cloned lineage at the aesthetic level. We would be unable to distinguish one RedmiBook from another by looking at one of the previous generations, such as the RedmiBook Air 13 at first glance, although this means that the minimalist and simple design is maintained, with that silver finish.
Of course, in addition to the input and output ports that differ, which we will see below, aspects such as resolution also change. We pointed this out before because the new RedmiBook Pro 15 integrates a 15.6-inch panel with a resolution of 3,200 × 2,000 pixels, escaping from the usual FullHD and giving more sense to the Pro name.
It is also noteworthy that the maximum refresh rate is90 Hz, with a contrast ratio of 1,500:1 and a pixel density of 242 pixels per inch. The utilization of the front by this screen is, according to the brand, 89.1%.
Very fast charging and WiFi 6
On the inside, this 11th generation Intel comes in two versions, the Intel Core i5-11300H and Intel Core i7-11370H. There is a single 16GB RAM configuration at the moment, this being DDR4 at 3,200MAh, with 512GB storage via a PCIe SSD, with optional NVIDIA MX450 graphics.
The battery is 70WHr, although what stands out is the fast charging of up to 100 watts, which they promise a 50% charge in as little as 30 minutes. It is well loaded with ports, including a Thunderbolt 4 and 3.5-millimeter minijack, in addition to supporting WiFi 6.
Pricing and Availability of Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 15
For now, the laptop has been presented in China and we have the official prices for that market. We are still waiting to know if there are changes in its availability, being the price for the most basic version of 4,999 Yuan (roughly $758) and 6,299 Yuan (roughly $968) for the most advanced version and being already available for purchase in China.
