In short, the two new phablets with Samsung nibs are top of the range. Change the design a bit thanks to perhaps a little more squared lines and also change the screen that now becomes even wider thanks to the photo on the display.

S Pen even more powerful

Galaxy Note 10

Among the strengths of this Galaxy Note 10, we find the beloved S-Pen nib which is now even more powerful and functional. With the renewed S-Pen you can pin notes, instantly convert handwriting to digital text on Samsung Notes and export the file in several different formats, including Microsoft Word. You can also customize the notes by decreasing or enlarging the size of the text, or changing the color. In just a few touches you can, for example, format and share meeting reports or quickly turn ideas and inspirations of the moment into documents that you can later modify.

Finally, the brand new Air Actions – real gestures – will allow you to interact with some Samsung proprietary applications without touching the display with the tip. After the launch, Samsung will make available a development kit that will allow integrating the gestures also to third-party applications.

Ideal for creating content

Also noteworthy are the software features that have been added to this Galaxy Note 10, including the bokeh effect applied to the videos (a real-time blur), the audio zoom (amplifies the audio in the video, removing the background noise to help you focus on the sounds you want to amplify in the video, removing background noise to help focus on the sounds you want), the ability to enhance your videos with the stylus and augmented reality (AR Doodle) and finally the integrated screen recorder that also supports the recording of the pen strokes.

DeX more functional and without the dock

One of the advantages of the Galaxy Note 9 series was its compatibility with the Samsung DeX dock. Now the station disappears to make room for a much easier and more practical solution to use.

If the DeX dock needed monitor, keyboard, and mouse to work now with the Note 9, the music changes completely in Note 10. Galaxy Note 10 will be able to take advantage of DeX’s features through the USB charging cable and can be connected directly to your laptop (Windows or Mac with the following versions of the operating system: Windows 7, Windows 10, High Sierra, Mojave).

Activating the Samsung Dex mode on the computer will allow you to conveniently transfer files from one device to another. Users can use their favorite mobile apps with a mouse and keyboard, keeping data safe on their smartphone thanks to Samsung Knox.

Galaxy Note 10 finally integrates the Windows connection directly into the quick panel. With a simple click, users can connect to their Windows 10 PC to check notifications, send and receive messages and review recent photos.
