The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are the new addition to the Galaxy family catalog, but these two devices do not come alone. And no, we are not talking about the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2, or the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 – although these models were also recently announced. This is the Galaxy Book S, the first laptop in the Galaxy family that comes with a Qualcomm processor, weighing less than 1 kg, 4G connectivity and a large battery. Here you will find all its features and the most interesting details of this new device, as well as its price.
The Samsung Galaxy Book S is a notebook with a very elegant design, but it does not stand out mainly for this, but its thickness and weight. It is very light, with only 0.96 kg of weight and a maximum thickness of 11.8 mm. In some areas, the device has a thickness of 6.2 millimeters, so it is quite manageable. To achieve this thickness it has had to sacrifice on some things. For example, this device does not have fans like a laptop. While these increased the thickness of the Notebook, it seems that the processor does not require enough power to need heat sinks.
It is constructed with anodized aluminum at the top, with a smooth design in various colors. It has the touch screen and the backlit keyboard. It also has a trackpad to move around the system. As for the connections, we find two USB C (one on each side) as well as a 3.5 mm jack for the headphones. The notebook also has a fingerprint scanner.

Samsung has decided to use a Qualcomm processor for this device. It is a product designed for productivity, so it does not require much performance, although the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx chip is very powerful. It is an eight-core processor at 2.84 and 1.8 GHz and with 64-bit architecture. This processor allows us to have a 4G connection in the device through a nano-SIM connection. Therefore, we will only need a SIM with mobile data to be able to have internet anywhere. Continuing with the performance of this device, we find an 8 GB RAM, as well as different internal storage options: 256 or 512 GB SSD, with the possibility of expanding them by internal memory up to 1 TB.
Windows 10 and a Battery Life of up to 23 hours
The screen size is 13.3 inches and has a Full HD + resolution. It is a touch panel with a 16:9 format. Although this device has all the polls to come with Android and Samsung DeX, it seems that the South Korean company has opted for Microsoft and its Windows 10 operating system. This works great on touch screens and the synchronization with Samsung computers is very good. The company announced during the launch of the Your Phone app, which allows us to have all our files, images, documents, and videos synchronized. In addition to different pairing options, such as the ability to view the device screen on the Windows 10 desktop.
Do not forget about the battery life. Samsung promises about 23 hours of battery life in video playback. Something we did not expect in a device with these features. Especially for its thin and lightweight design. Even so, it seems that processor and software optimization is very good. The load is 42 Wh.
