When a user is looking for an affordable phone, sometimes the assurance of knowing that the software will not give problems is more important than a slightly better battery or a slightly better camera.
This way of thinking is what Nokia is trying to promote with its entry range. The new Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 are already available, and they come with a compact design, a reasonable price, and a clear commitment to Google’s software.
These are the specifications, price, and availability of the latest Nokia, from the Nokia 2.4 and its 4,500 mAh battery to the Nokia 3.4, which comes with a Snapdragon 460 processor, a perforated screen, and the Android One software.

Nokia 2.4: the new Android One phone is more affordable
The Nokia 2.4 is a simple mobile, with an official price of $139, for the 2GB version and 32GB of storage. This time, it has a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 20:9 ratio that includes a ‘notch’ in the form of a drop of water.
Inside, there is an Helio P22 processor as well as 2 or 3GB of RAM. For storage, you can choose between 32GB and 512GB microSD cards. The device has a 4,500mAh battery and a 5W charge, somewhat limited for the current days.
The photographic section includes the main sensor of 8 megapixels and an f/2.0 aperture lens, together with the second sensor of 2 megapixels for depth. This time, there will be no NFC, and it comes with a micro-USB port. The fingerprint reader is located at the back and there is a physical button on the left side to activate Google Assistant.
As with its big brother, the Nokia 2.4 comes with Android 10 under the Android One program, which will allow access to software just as Google wants Android to be used. This is the most affordable phone launched this year under the Android One program. Nokia is positioned as the brand that most supports the use of Google’s software, in all price ranges.

Nokia 3.4: NFC and triple camera in the low range
The new Nokia 3.4 comes with a 6.39-inch panel with HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 format due to the presence of the hole in the screen placed in the upper left corner. HMD Global chooses to place the physical fingerprint reader in the back, just below the triple camera that has a quaint circular shape.
Inside, there is a Snapdragon 460 processor along with 3 and 4 GB versions of RAM. For storage, it starts from 32 GB, although Nokia promotes the 64 GB version.
For the battery, there is a 4,000 mAh battery with a 10W charge and USB-C. It also has NFC, a technology not so common to find in this price range. The photographic section consists of the main sensor of 13 megapixels, accompanied by a 5-megapixel wide-angle and a third sensor for depth.
Available for $179, the Nokia 3.4 belongs to the Android One program and comes with Android 10 pre-installed. This is a clean version of Android, with no customized interface and “no bloatware” as promised by the brand. Additionally, there will be 3 years of monthly security updates and 2 years of guaranteed software updates.
