Bringing the 5G and its Apple A15 Bionic to the cheapest iPhone
It’s been two years since the last iPhone SE. Apple has been gradually expanding the availability of 5G connectivity across its entire portfolio of devices. With the new iPhone SE, now also the cheaper range gets this capability.
Along with 5G, the Apple A15 Bionic makes an appearance, a processor that we have already seen offers spectacular performance. Considering its small screen, the iPhone SE (2022) is quite a beast in a small body.
Compared to the iPhone 8, the quad-core Neural Engine GPU promises up to 26 times more operations per second.
Design-wise, the new iPhone SE retains much of the design of the previous model, including Touch ID. Including its 4.7-inch Retina display with HD resolution.
The new iPhone SE (2022) incorporates a new Gorilla Glass, the same as the iPhone 13. It is also water and dust resistant, although it remains IP67 certified.
For the photographic section, a 12-megapixel camera is added, which incorporates Deep Fusion technology and Smart HDR 4. Regarding software, the iPhone SE comes with iOS 15 and adds some new features such as a new Google Maps experience and dictation for Siri on the device.

The iPhone SE range is known as the “cheap iPhone” because they are Apple’s phones with an official price below $600. This year, the 256 GB storage option is also offered and its price has increased slightly.
