Anker 675: an all-port hub that boosts your monitor and charges your laptop with up to 100W

Anker has announced at CES 2023 a USB-C and HDMI port hub that, in addition to expanding the connection possibilities of our laptop, is presented as a good alternative to organizing desktop cables. In addition, it can slightly raise an external monitor.

This is the Anker 675 USB-C Docking Station, one of the most eye-catching products presented by the manufacturer during the event held this week in Las Vegas. Let’s see what this $300 hub, which promises to be available for purchase in March, has to offer.

A hub that’s also an organizer

The versatility and performance of laptops have prompted many users to use them as their primary tool for work, which translates into the need to connect a large number of peripherals, from a monitor to external storage.

In this type of scenario, hubs are presented as a good alternative to make the most of our laptop’s connections, and manufacturers know it. Microsoft, for example, recently launched the Microsoft Audio Dock, a hybrid between a hub and a very striking speaker.

Anker has just introduced the Anker 67, a 12-port hub that, as mentioned above, is more than just a hub. Its design allows for a very effective organization of cables and overall workspace.

The lower space can be used, for example, to store the keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals in use. The possibility of raising the monitor is also interesting for all those users who spend many hours in front of the computer.

If we talk about ports, as we can see in the datasheet, the dock has a USB-C port up to 100 W to charge the laptop, USB-A ports, 2 USB-C ports, and SD and microSD card slots. It also highlights a wireless charging dock, an Ethernet port, and a 4k HDMI port.

Price and Availability of the Anker 675 USB-C Docking Station

We know that the Anker 675 USB-C Docking Station will be available in the European market for $300 starting in March. It remains to be confirmed, however, if the product will also arrive in the international market.
