Time has passed since the launch of the Amazfit Band 5. Two years, to be exact. During this time, Amazfit has focused on its range of smartwatches, releasing high-end models such as the GTR 3 Pro, but now it is once again betting on cheap wearables with the new Amazfit Band 7.
The quantifying bracelet has been announced in the United States. Its price is $49.99 and its main attraction is that much, much bigger and more complete. Let’s get to know it better.

Much bigger
Amazfit has caught up in terms of design. The Chinese firm has opted for a design similar to what we have seen in so many other wearables, such as Huawei smartwatches, so that we have a broader and elongated screen (by 12%, according to Amazfit). And is that, while the Amazfit Band 7 had a 1.1-inch screen, the new model jumps to 1.47 inches.
The panel is still AMOLED (color, obviously) and its resolution goes up to 198 x 368 pixels, which translates to 282 pixels per inch. At the bottom, we have the PPG 3.0 sensor, responsible for monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress, and breathing during sleep, among other parameters.
As it could not be otherwise, the bracelet can register up to 120 sports modes, including some aquatic ones. The Amazfit Band 7 has a water resistance of up to five atmospheres and can automatically recognize when we have started to play sports. What it still doesn’t have is an integrated GPS chip, unfortunately.
Otherwise, the Amazfit Band 7 has a 232 mAh battery which the firm promises up to 18 days of autonomy with a “typical use”. It connects to the mobile via Bluetooth 5.2 and, thanks to the built-in microphone, we will be able to interact with Alexa.
Pricing and Availability of the Amazfit Band 7
As we indicated above, the Amazfit Band 7 has been launched in the United States, where it can already be purchased for $49.99. As for versions, two: with a black case or white case.
