The renewal of laptops and desktops that Acer has announced comes with some outstanding models like this Acer Swift X that boasts a design that curiously deceives.
It does so because the configuration of these computers is remarkable and combines the power of the new Ryzen 5000 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 (Ti) dedicated graphics. A compact design with a really promising power.

A powerful combination
The packaging is deceiving here. The design of the Acer Swift X (SFX14-41G) seems to point to traditional laptops with a more or less conservative orientation, but nothing could be further from the truth.
That’s what its two main components take care of. First, the new AMD Ryzen 5000 processors, which will provide these devices with exceptional power in both the Ryzen 5 5600U and the ambitious Ryzen 7 5800U versions.
They are also accompanied by NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti graphics cards, which, despite being the most modest of the family with Ampere architecture, are capable of guaranteeing very fluid gaming sessions in 1080p resolution.
All this is also achieved in a metal chassis with different shades and that stands out for its thickness (17.9 mm) and its weight of only 1.39 kg.
The device also has a fingerprint sensor for more secure logins through Windows Hello.
The integrated microphones also have a noise suppression system, something that can come in handy in video calls.
Pricing and Availability of the Acer Swift X
The new Acer Swift X (SFX14-41G) will be available from summer 2021 and will have a starting price of $899.
