Xiaomi has just unveiled, alongside the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro, the most important renewal in its Smart Band family (known to virtually everyone as ‘Mi Band’). This is the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro, and it is the first time that a Xiaomi smart bracelet from the Smart Band family is so close to a smartwatch.

More screen, more smartwatch
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro is closer to a smartwatch than a Mi Band. Its screen is 1.64 inches, although it is much wider than a regular Mi Band. As in the Mi Band 7, this generation has Always On Display, and the dials show more information and variety than in the other variants of this family.
In terms of sports monitoring and health functions, it is capable of measuring heart rate, blood oxygen level, sleep, and the classic functions of any other Mi Band. Its interface is more complete as it is larger, with an experience more similar to that of a smartwatch, although with the soul of a bracelet.
This model does have GPS, the most important difference from the Mi Band 7. This allows you to plot and save routes without the need for a phone, something that had been requested for some time. The battery is noticeably larger than the Smart Band 7, with 235 mAh. This variant also comes with NFC, as well as Xiaomi’s assistant.
Versions and price of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro, will be a version (in principle) reserved for the Chinese market. It will be sold in China for 379 yuan.
