This tablet has been forced to share the limelight with the 11T family of smartphones that Xiaomi has just presented, but the truth is that it is a very interesting device that is worth not overlooked. In a market where Apple rules with an iron fist, this Pad 5 aspires to show us that Android tablets can also offer us a satisfactory experience.
In the photographs illustrating this article, you can see that it has a stylish and elegant design, with thin frames and a flat aluminum profile that is easy on the eyes. In addition, it is possible to use it with Xiaomi’s Smart Pen stylus, although, yes, it is not included in the package. And it’s no bargain either due to the fact that it costs €99.99.
So far, however, we have only skimmed the surface. The specifications of this device are at the height of what we users can expect from a mid-high range tablet. There is no doubt that the biggest challenge this Pad 5 will have to face is to convince us that it guarantees a great experience. These are the ingredients it contains to achieve this.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the secondary storage of this device will have a capacity of 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1 depending on which version we get.
The other element that has a very profound impact on our experience is the display, and the one on this Pad 5 looks good. It incorporates an 11-inch IPS LCD panel with WQHD+ (2560 x 1600 dots) resolution, 120 Hz refresh, native 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a brightness delivery capability that Xiaomi says allows it to play Dolby Vision content.
