Just over a week ago, Xiaomi announced the Mi Watch Lite, their new smartwatch. This is a slightly more basic model than the Mi Watch and, of course, more affordable.Â
The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite will be available from December 18 on the company’s website, in the Mi Stores. Its price is $58.90, and it is available for purchase since December 18.

Cheap and with GPS
Despite its price, the device does not forget one of the functions that are generally reserved for higher-end watches: GPS. The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite has a built-in GPS chip (GPS+GLONASS), so we can go out and do sports with it and record the route without having to carry the phone with us. It also has a heart rate sensor, sleep monitoring, air pressure, and altitude function. What is not mentioned is that it has a SpO2 sensor.
The watch is rectangular, as the original Mi Watch, but shares more features with the Redmi Watch than with its predecessor. So, it weighs 35 grams, a button on the right side to interact with apps and menus, and a 1.4-inch color and TFT/LCD screen touch with 320 x 320 pixels resolution. This is one of the big differences from its predecessor, which had an AMOLED screen.
The operating system is proprietary and has smartwatch functions, see monitoring the exercises (it has 11 training modes), and receive notifications directly on the wrist. Xiaomi has emphasized that the watch “includes push notifications with emojis compatibility”.
As for the battery, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite comes with 230 mAh and, depending on the brand, is capable of offering up to nine days of battery life. From Xiaomi, they also add that it charges in two hours. In any case, we already know that real battery life depends on the use that each user makes of the watch.
