As if there were not enough Xiaomi products that have been presented today (there has even been a robotic dog), the Chinese firm did not want to miss the opportunity to launch a new and impressive 77-inch OLED TV ready for gamers: the Xiaomi Mi TV Master OLED 77-inch.
Like all the gadgets we have seen today, the TV has been launched in China and, for the moment, there is no news about its arrival in the international market. In any case, we will be pending to update in case it is relevant. In China, its price is 19,999 yuan, which at the exchange rate is approximately €2,632 / $3,000. That said, let’s get to know it better.

Sound and image without forgetting the gamers
The MI TV Master OLED is an OLED TV (as its name suggests) whose panel amounts to no less than 77 inches. Its profile is very thin (don’t let the dimensions fool you, since they include the stand) and, until we see it firsthand, it seems that Xiaomi has managed to reduce the bezels to a minimum.
Xiaomi has implemented a V21 OLED panel with 8.29 million pixels and 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). Its refresh rate is 120 Hz (1 ms) and, thanks to the addition of an HDMI 2.1 port, it will be squeezable with next-generation consoles. In that sense, it has G-Sync and VRR (variable refresh rate) and has the blessing of Xbox, as announced by Xiaomi.

In terms of image technologies, the TV supports Dolby Vision IQ, which intelligently adjusts brightness and color temperature depending on the room you’re in. It also features AI-SR, which is nothing more than a hardware-level rescaling algorithm to improve textures in lower-resolution videos.
In any case, Xiaomi will allow the user to adapt the TV to their needs and tastes through the master creation mode. This supports DCI-P3, BT.2020, Adobe RGB, and BT.709 and will allow the color gamut, white balance, etc. to be adjusted. The idea, of course, is to use the TV for other things beyond gaming and watching movies, such as designing by connecting a computer to it.

And what is a high-end TV without a good set of speakers? Xiaomi has teamed up with Harman Kardon for its new model and implemented a nine-speaker system with 70W of power and Dolby Atmos 3.1. At least on paper, Xiaomi’s new TV doesn’t look bad.
Under the hood of the TV, there is a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor along with 8.5GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, as well as a Mali G-52MC2 GPU. These components will not only bring to life the aforementioned technologies but also MIUI for TV 3.1, the TV’s smart interface.

Finally, as interesting aspects to highlight, the remote control has NFC and allows you to broadcast content to the TV by simply bringing the cell phone close to the remote. The TV also has WiFi 6 and supports UWB (Ultra Wide Band), allowing interactions from other devices to be carried out quickly and easily.
