The new Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is now official. The most popular smart bracelet on the market is renewed once again to remain one of the reference options. Based on a super tight price and a design gradually improving to offer a larger screen, more battery, and new monitoring and training functions.
This is what the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 7 offers, presented along with the new Redmi Note 11T. A bracelet that lives up to the saying that “if something works, better not touch it”. Do not expect a great revolution in this new generation, but another version to further improve a smartband as simple as effective.

The ‘Always-on-Display’ arrives on a slightly larger screen
The appearance of the Mi Band 7 remains as recognizable as that of recent years. This year there is an increase in the diagonal of the screen, but without unduly impacting the design. It goes from 1.56 inches to 1.62 inches of AMOLED screen. This adjustment makes it slightly thicker and less elongated.
In terms of resolution, there is also an improvement to 192 x 490 pixels. Similarly, the brightness increases to 500 nits. But undoubtedly the great novelty is the arrival of the ‘Always-On-Display’, which will allow information to be displayed even when the screen is turned off.
Among the sensors we have is the measurement of the pulse continuously, in addition to the level of oxygen in the blood (SpO2). There is also the possibility of measuring the quality of sleep or the possibility of using the bracelet as a camera shutter.
The presence of NFC for mobile payments is maintained in a dedicated version, allowing the base model to continue to be offered at a lower price point.
Unfortunately, contrary to the leaks, the Mi Band 7 still does not have GPS.
When it comes to recording sports activity, Xiaomi has taken a step forward by increasing from 30 sports to recognize up to 120 different activities.
Finally, the battery aspect has improved, offering 180 mAh, compared to 150 mAh. We will have to see if this is an improvement in autonomy, as the screen has also grown slightly.
