Screen and Design
With a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen, the Mi 10 has a larger display than the Mi Note 10, which features AMOLED technology and 6.47 inches. Both models have the same Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels).
The notch is not present in the Mi 10 since the release brings the selfie camera in a hole inside the screen in the upper left corner of the panel. However, the notch is present in Note, centralized, and drop format as in previous models.
The curved display on the sides like Samsung’s high-end phones is present in both. Both smartphones have the photo set as a vertical line in the top left corner.
Camera
Five cameras make up the Mi Note 10 photo set, putting it at an advantage over Mi 10. The array is made up as follows:
- Main – 108 MP
- For portraits – 12 MP
- Ultra-wide – 20 MP
- Telephoto – 5 MP
- Macro – 2 MP
The 108 Megapixels sensor is also present in Mi 10, but unlike its sister’s phone, it has a quad-camera. The set also features an ultra-wide 13 MP lens, a 2 MP macro, and a 3D sensor with 2 MP.
Note’s front camera also features a higher resolution than the Mi 10, as it has 32 MP, while the Mi 10 features selfies with a resolution of up to 20 MP.
Performance and Storage
The Mi 10 should provide a more fluid and powerful performance than the Note model. The Xiaomi launch features the Snapdragon 865 processor (octa-core up to 2.8 GHz), which runs 5G internet resources, 8GB or 12GB RAM, and 128GB or 256GB storage.
Mi Note 10 comes with the Snapdragon 730G, an octa-core processor up to 2.2 GHz, and only one hardware combination: 6 GB + 128 GB. Neither has a microSD card slot to expand data space.
Battery
The capacity of the Mi Note 10 is 5,260 mAh, a battery larger than Mi 10, which comes with a 4,780 mAh component. However, when it comes to fast charging, the launch can be recharged using chargers up to 50 W. In the case of Mi Note 10, the highest power supported is up to 30 W.
Operating system and additional features
Mi 10 leaves the factory with Android 10, Google’s latest mobile operating system. The Mi Note 10 runs Android 9 (Pie), but can now be upgraded to the same system as the recently released phone. Also, Xiaomi has streamlined MIUI 11 on both smartphones.
Both have NFC technology and so they count on approach payments through Android Pay or Google Pay. They also have fingerprint biometrics integrated into the screen itself and infrared. The Mi Note 10 has an FM radio as a differential since the Mi 10 does not have this feature.
Price
Mi 10 is available for $820. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is available for $880.
