The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is more than just a screen. Inside it includes an operating system and comes with preinstalled applications such as Netflix or Youtube, in the purest style of TVs. The big brother of the M5 and M7 monitors comes with a new design and four colors. A style that is very reminiscent of the iMac and the new Studio Display, with a square central stand and edges reduced to a minimum.
The new Samsung Smart Monitor M8 comes in 32 inches with a 4K resolution and an ultra-slim body. These are the features of the new Samsung monitor, now available for pre-order worldwide.

Integrated Smart TV system and magnetic camera
The new Samsung monitor includes Tizen inside, the same operating system that we see in their TVs. The manufacturer claims that it is a monitor because it has no antenna input, but it could well be understood as a small TV. Increasingly, the difference between one and the other is smaller.
Applications such as Netflix, Youtube, Apple TV, or Samsung TV Plus are included. It even comes with remote control with an infrared port, just like on TVs. The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 comes with an LCD panel with UltraHD 4K resolution, in 16:9 format.
As described by the company, the monitor can reach 99% of the sRGB color space and offer a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It also features Adaptive Sound+, which in addition to regulating its 5W dual-speaker sound, also adjusts the brightness of the image depending on the ambient light. On the image level, the monitor supports HDR10+.
This is a monitor with an ultra-thin body, just 11.4 mm thick, and a very minimalist aesthetic that is available in four colors: white, blue, red, and green.
At the top is incorporated a SlimFit magnetic camera that allows video calls via Google Duo and video calling applications available on TizenOS.
For connectivity, there is WiFi and Bluetooth, while at the port level comes a USB C that allows charging connections at 65 watts, another USB C port, and a micro HDMI.
Due to its connectivity and integrated system, the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is compatible with SmartThings and allows control from the monitor home devices.
