Realme Band: What You Need To Know About The New Wearable Device

In the world of activity bracelets, there are many brands, often unknown and of Chinese origin. Fitbit was one of the manufacturers that opened up the market in this segment, but Xiaomi ended up taking over a large part of the cake thanks to a family of accessories that has sold millions: the Xiaomi Mi Band. In fact, the latest bracelet model, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4, is still a popular choice, although it will soon have a tough competitor.

Realme has become a major rival to the Xiaomi, both in Europe and in India. India is one of the top-selling countries for both brands, so they are redoubling their efforts to attract potential customers. What do you want as a good alternative to the Mi Band? Well, the Realme Band is almost ready to be marketed. So much so, that the Realme Band itself reveals almost all its details on its website.

Like any valuable activity wristband, the Realme Band can detect exercise while counting steps, calories and measuring heart rate thanks to its sensors located on the back of the accessory. The design of the bracelet follows the trend in this type of device: long screen, rubber bracelet and different colors to choose from.

The screen of the Realme Band is OLED and colored, has a large size and appears curved. It is tactile and has a control button right at the bottom to access the different menus on the wristband. This is complemented by a varied selection of sensors to obtain exercise data, dust, and water IP68 resistance, it offers the phone notifications on the wrist and has a surprising charging system since no accessory is needed: the Realme Band has a USB connector integrated into the screen itself.
