OPPO Watch 2

Despite the fact that the design has not undergone major changes, in the internal hardware, there is a great evolution. It incorporates the Snapdragon Wear 4100 along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage.

At the software level, ColorOS Watch 2, the new version of its customization layer, is introduced. Initially presented in China, this system will be based on a version of Android but it is not ruled out that in its jump to international markets it will go for WearOS, as in its first generation. Or even directly with Wear, the latest version born of Google’s alliance with Samsung.

The appearance is directly reminiscent of the Apple Watch but without the crown. Instead, it has two side buttons, a curved AMOLED screen, an aluminum body, and two sizes: 42 and 46 mm.

For sensors, there are an accelerometer, compass, atmospheric pressure, as well as heart rate, SpO2, and GPS for orientation. The OPPO Watch 2 can measure more than 100 different types of sport, record sleep activity and measure stress. It also has the option to add an eSIM for LTE connectivity, adds Bluetooth 5.0, and incorporates NFC for physical payments. The latter is a common addition to devices from China.

The 360 mAh battery is complemented by the VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge system, which promises up to a day of autonomy with 15 minutes of charging. As the firm explains, it has 10 days with basic mode, 2.5 days with normal use, and 1.5 days in the versions with 4G connectivity.
