11-millimeter driver tuned by Dynaudio
The OPPO’s Enco X adopts a similar aesthetic to that of the AirPods Pro, it has a rather small lower mast and an integrated head in the upper area. Along the length and width of its chassis, three microphones will not only pick up our voice for calls but also cancel the external noise In China, they are available in white, black, and green.
Each headset weighs 4.8 grams, in line with other competitors’ models. The case, on the other hand, remains at 42.5 grams. Inside each headset, there is 44 mAh of battery and a dynamic driver of 11 millimeters. For the sound, OPPO has allied with Dynaudio and assures that Daniel Emonts, Chief Acoustic Specialist of Dynaudio A/S, has optimized the headphones to offer better quality. They also highlight from the brand that the DBEE 3.0 acoustic system has been used.
In terms of noise cancellation, each headset uses a dual system that uses external microphones and a dual-core chip to counteract unwanted noise waves. They also feature triple-mic noise cancellation for calls, designed to make our voice and that of our caller clearer.
Finally, let’s review the connectivity and battery. The OPPOs Enco X has Bluetooth 5.2 and the LHDC, AAC, and SBC codecs. They are compatible with Android and iOS, and like Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro, they quickly synchronize with the company’s devices using OPPO Share.
OPPO ensures that the battery lasts four hours with the ANC activated and up to five and a half hours without it. By charging the case a combined battery life of 20 to 25 hours is achieved. Note that the case is compatible with wireless charging, that each earpiece takes 80 minutes to charge, and that the case charges in 110 minutes.
