Moto G9 Plus: Features, Reviews, and Price

The Moto G9 Plus has been unveiled, the most powerful model of the Moto G series, and the successor to the Moto G8 Plus.

This mid-range mobile does not feature the 5G, but it incorporates the front camera embedded in the screen, saying goodbye to the notch of its predecessor. A modest evolution like the one seen in the Moto G9 Play, updating the processor, and cameras, and also getting big batteries.

The Premiere of Colors and Design

Motorola has again introduced design changes in this series, leaving aside the elongated module for the rear cameras and moving to a rectangular domino type. Also, it seems that the pink tone is back in fashion because the Moto G9 Plus comes in blue or pink gold, a color that reminds much of the latest Samsung products.

The back of the phone does not have many more elements beyond the logo, in the usual top central part, and the camera module. Being a thick device of 9.7 millimeters, they managed to integrate a 3.5 millimeters jack.

The screen is a 6.8 inches screen with FullHD+ resolution and IPS technology. However, it does not include a fingerprint reader, which is not included in the logo either and is placed on the side.

5,000 mAh and Qualcomm’s 700 series

The new Moto G9 Plus has the Snapdragon 730G, thus joining the 700 series and evolving from the Moto G8. There is a unique variant in terms of memory with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with the option to expand with microSD up to 512 GB.

The Moto G9 Plus comes with a “super battery”, referring to the 5,000 mAh battery. A battery compatible with the TurboPower fast charge at 30W.

As for the cameras, the now larger module integrates four rear cameras with the following combination (widely familiar in the more economical mid-range):

  • 64-megapixel main sensor and f/1.8 aperture lens
  • 118-degree wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 8-megapixel sensor
  • 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens
  • 2-megapixel portrait sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens
  • Front camera with a 16-megapixel sensor and f/2.0 aperture lens.

Price and Availability of the Moto G9 Plus

The most powerful of the Moto G9 (at the moment) is already available for $299. As we said, there is only one version as far as memories are concerned and it is available in blue and golden pink.
