Screen and Design

The similarities between Moto E7 Plus and Galaxy A02S lie in the 6.5-inch screen seen in both datasheets. The HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels) is another point in common. The design is also similar when it comes to the display, as they bring a drop-shaped notch to house the front camera.
You can start to point out the differences from the back of the phones, specifically by the presence of the fingerprint reader on the Moto E7 Plus, as opposed to the absence of the sensor on the Galaxy A02S.
The camera arrangements are also distinct, as they sit in a centralized square on the Moto E7 Plus, while the Galaxy A02S accommodates the camera set at one end. The Motorola device brings a matte finish in amber bronze and navy blue, while Samsung’s model uses the same texture, only in blue, black, and red.
Camera

If in the screen the smartphones are similar, in the camera they are completely different. The Moto E7 Plus can stand out among consumers looking for more megapixels in the photo set since it has 48 MP in the main camera. It even brings a 2 MP depth sensor to help with photos using portrait mode.

In contrast to Motorola, Samsung invests in more lenses, but with fewer megapixels. In this way, the Galaxy A02S brings three sensors of 13 MP, 2 MP, and 2 MP, distributed in the main, macro, and depth cameras, respectively.
The camera for selfies is also one of the attractions of the Moto E7 Plus, as it has 8 MP against 5 MP of the Galaxy.
Performance and Storage
The Moto E7 Plus tends to stand out in this aspect since it brings twice as much storage as the Galaxy A02S. There are 64 GB of space with the possibility of expanding the memory up to 256 GB via microSD card. The Galaxy A02S comes standard with 32 GB and can support up to 1 TB of microSD.
The RAM of the Moto E7 Plus is also a little larger since there are 4 GB against the 3 GB seen in the Galaxy A02S. As for the processor, the representative of the Moto E family uses the Snapdragon 460, an octa-core of up to 1.8 GHz, while the Galaxy A02S has a Snapdragon 450, also with eight cores and a speed of 1.8 GHz.
Battery

The battery is one of the common aspects of the two devices. They feature 5,000 mAh and claim to be enough to get through two days away from the plugs. Samsung did not specify details about the battery life. Motorola indicates that the Moto E7 Plus should provide 15 hours of uninterrupted web browsing and 21 hours of video playback.
The charger that comes with the Moto E7 Plus uses micro USB input, outdated compared to other models released at the same time. Also, the power offered is 10 W. The Galaxy A02S is an example of a recent phone that comes with a USB-C input and has support for fast charging with a 15 W power device.
System and Features

The Galaxy A02S model runs Android 10 from the factory. There is no information about the possibility of upgrading to Android 11. The Moto E7 Plus also runs Android 10 and tends to receive the update to Android 11, Google’s latest system.
One of the features present in the Moto E7 Plus is the button dedicated exclusively for triggering the Google Assistant. The classic shortcuts triggered by gestures are also present in the Moto E7 Plus, as in the other models of the brand. As for the Galaxy, it is worth saying that, even though it does not bring functions such as fingerprint reader, it has technologies such as Dolby Atmos sound, responsible for providing more robust audio experiences.
Both devices bring 4G internet, but lack features such as NFC connectivity, which prevents actions such as proximity payment.
Price

The Galaxy A02S is available on the Amazon store for a price starting from $146. Last year’s model, the Moto E7 Plus arrived on the market in September for a price starting from $157.99
