Following the recent announcement of the LG Ultra Tab, LG has completely revamped its Tone family, with the LG Tone Free T90, T60, Fit TF7 and Fit TF8. A total of four headphones with a self-cleaning case is one of the main features of these devices. These are their technical specifications.

LG Tone Free T90 and T60, are the best value models
Of the four models, the most expensive and capable are the LG Tone Free T90 and T60. These models are very similar to each other, with the main difference being that the Tone Free T90 has better noise cancellation, Dolby Head Tracking technology to optimize the sound by adapting to the movement of the head, and a wireless charging system.
LG also assures that this year they have a new inner structure that helps to reinforce the bass, making them deeper. In the case of the T90, they come with Snapdragon SoundTM Technology Suite1, a technology that promises to match the sound quality to that obtained by cable.
Both models promise up to 9 hours of battery life in continuous playback without noise cancellation and up to 20h in the case of a charging case. Speaking of which, this case cleans with ultraviolet light, completely sterilizing the headphones.
LG Tone Free Fit TF7 and TF8, are oriented to the sport
With a focus not so much focused on the premium segment, but in the territory of athletes, come the LG Tone Free Fit TF7 and TF8. These headphones are lighter and lighter in design, with IP67 certification vs. the IPX4 of the T90 and T60. Despite being headphones with a different approach, they also feature active noise cancellation.
In this case, the battery promises up to 10 hours of playback without ANC, and up to 20 hours if we use the case. Wireless charging is reserved for the TF8 only. As an additional detail, if we use a treadmill with Plug & Wireless technology, we can connect these headphones to the treadmill itself. Like their siblings, they come with a UV case.
Versions and prices of the LG Tone Free T90, T60, Fit TF7, and Fit TF8
LG’s new headphones have been unveiled globally and the company promises that they will be present in “major world markets” by the end of this August. No European pricing yet, but we do know the dollar figure.
