Workstations do not have to be at odds with the design. The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 is one of the best examples. A workstation that has been renewed this 2021 in style, with the presence of a new 4K OLED screen, the inclusion of RTX 3080 graphics, and a larger 90 Whr battery to extend autonomy.
This is everything offered by what is already the fourth generation of the Lenovo ThinkPad P1, one of the most complete portable workstations on the market.

Lenovo’s ability to compact so many elements in a body of just 1.80 kg and about 15 millimeters thick is surprising. The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 grows to 16 inches with an OLED panel that can be configured depending on the resolution and whether it is touch or not. Lenovo offers OLED panels with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 4K touch version.
With a 16:10 format and reduced edges, the ThinkPad P1 competes against consumer laptops in terms of design and finish. A webcam with FullHD resolution is included, as well as Dolby Atmos speakers.
Inside the workstation, 11th generation Intel Core eight-core processors and high-performance Xeon options are chosen. For the GPU, Lenovo offers for the first time the option to add GeForce RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 alongside the classic RTX A5000.
Accompanying it is the option to configure up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and two M.2 slots storage is offered, with up to 4TB of NVMe. Regarding the battery, Lenovo adds 90 Whr that will help to move the laptop during a working day. At the mobility level, Lenovo also incorporates 5G connectivity thanks to the inclusion of the Snapdragon X55 modem.
The ThinkPad P1 (2021) is served with ports. It has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a microSD card reader. For security, we have a fingerprint reader on the recognizable red central power button and facial recognition on the webcam, compatible with Windows Hello.
