As has happened with the Huawei Band 6 Pro, which has come to take precedence over its predecessor. The new Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG adds a surname to the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro to improve it. There is little difference in this new device, as it makes clear its main novelty: the electrocardiogram (ECG).
This is a fairly recent feature in smartwatches that is very interesting and can be of help and interest to many users. Now Huawei’s most powerful smartwatch boasts it, in addition to that tremendous autonomy that we are used to, as they promise.

A new and functional protrusion in an almost unchanged appearance
If you remember the appearance of the GT 2 Pro that we mentioned in the introduction, you will see that this evolution of aesthetics is the same. It keeps the titanium alloy case, the ceramic dial, and sapphire crystal with that elegant and minimalist style, but with a new “button” in the middle of the two side ones that were already there.
This “button” is the surface where the user places the finger to run the ECG, the novelty that characterizes this product. This puts it on a par with the Fitbit Sense, the Apple Watch Series 6, or the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 (added later), among others.
The screen is also maintained, seeing an AMOLED panel of 1.39 inches and a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. It also has speakers and a microphone to be able to attend to voice control and works with both iOS and Android devices, although the product page specifies that precisely the ECG function is not compatible with an iPhone.
Internally, it is equipped with the Kirin A1 processor and 4 GB of internal storage. Huawei speaks of up to 12 days of autonomy (or a week with intensive use), being able to set the continuous measurement of parameters such as sleep, pulse, or oxygen saturation.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG, like the other products presented by the brand at this latest major event, has been presented in China.
