Huawei presents the new MateView and MateView GT, two external monitors that represent the best work of the Chinese manufacturer in screens to date. A monitor for professionals and another for gamers with 28 and 34 inches respectively, high-resolution panels, and a refined design that fits very well in the sectors where they aspire to make a niche.

Huawei MateView

The Huawei MateView is a stylish 28.2-inch 3:2 format monitor, intended primarily for editing and development professionals. The design is very minimalist, with aluminum finishes and the possibility of linking via USB-C with a computer or other devices.

It has a panel with a resolution equivalent to 4K but in a more square format, with 3,840 x 2,560 pixels.

There are almost no edges thanks to its 94% ratio. On the sides, it has a border of only 6 mm and a lower area of 9.3 mm. It is also an extra-thin monitor, with 9.3 mm at its thinnest area and 13 mm at its thinnest.

In the lower area is located an area to wirelessly link Huawei mobiles. It is also at the foot of the base where two 5W speakers are incorporated.

In terms of connectivity, the MateView comes with a USB C port, two USB A ports, and an HDMI 2.0, plus a 3.5mm jack. It also has a 65W USB-C charging port, capable of powering laptops.

A 34-inch curved gaming monitor

Huawei MateView GT

The MateView GT model also has a very elegant design but focused on another type of audience. It features a 34-inch panel with a 1500R curvature, a maximum brightness of 350 nits, and a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels.

The aspect ratio is 21:9 widescreen and comes with a 4,000:1 contrast with its VA panel. For the refresh rate, Huawei reaches 165Hz in this model.

As a differentiating feature, Huawei adds a soundbar at the bottom with dual 5W speakers and dual audio channels. This bar also incorporates an LED strip that serves as sound control.

Pricing and Availability of MateView and MateView GT

The new Huawei MateView and MateView GT are coming to multiple global markets. The 28.2-inch, 4K+ resolution Huawei MateView will cost €699 in Europe. The 34-inch MateView GT will be available for €549.
