With completely wireless headphones we’ve gone from seeing the “stick sticking out of the ear” thing as unusual to seeing it everywhere from the jogging track to the supermarket queue, and they are also regular launches alongside cell phones. Checking these two boxes, yesterday Honor unveiled the Honor 50, 50 SE, and Honor 50 Pro 5G and also the new Honor Earbuds 2 SE headphones.
These are completely wireless or TWS headphones with active noise cancellation and low latency. Two features that are usually highly valued in the purchase of headphones that are not basic, also highlighting the promised autonomy.

Active noise cancellation and low latency flagship
We referred in the introduction to that bar that is usually seen in this type of headphones and the new Honor Earbuds 2 SE would correspond to that casual description. These are compact bar-type headphones, that is, with a form factor common to AirPods and the like.
It highlights active noise cancellation, pulling in its two built-in microphones and other software and design features. In addition, as we see in some headphones like the Sony WH-1000XM4, they have a transparency mode that allows “cancel cancellation”, that is, being able to hear the surrounding sounds while we play them without having to remove the headphones.
The Honor Earbuds 2 SE also has a carrying and recharging case that is also reminiscent of the AirPods. But yes, the bar of the headphones is somewhat thicker and in this case, there is a black and white model.
Internally, they integrate a 10-millimeter diaphragm (polymer composite), which they promise translates into a good experience and highlight the reduction of latency, although they have not specified the milliseconds. The bar described above is also used for touch operation.
Continuing with the components, they have a 55 mAh battery (each earphone), counting with the charging case to have a total of 410 mAh. The numbers depend on whether you have noise cancellation active or not, with 7.5 hours with the headphones and 24 hours with the case in this case.
Without it, the autonomy remains at 10 and 32 hours respectively. In addition, according to Honor about 10 minutes of charging with the case translates into 4 hours of autonomy.
Pricing and Availability of the Honor Earbuds 2 SE
Like the Honor 50, the Honor Earbuds 2 SE have been presented for the moment in China. At the moment we have no information about their release in other markets, so we will have to wait (perhaps they will arrive together with the cell phones later). As mentioned, they are available in black and white and the starting price in China is a469n Yuan.
