Screen and Design

The two devices differ greatly in terms of the screen. The iPhone 11 is smaller, with a 6.1″ display against the 6.7″ display on the Galaxy Note 20, and also has the lowest screen resolution between the two: it’s 1792 x 828 pixels on the Apple mobile against 2400 x 1080 pixels on the Samsung.
Although the difference in resolution is quite apparent, the expectation is that the user experience is similar on both phones. Both have high-density displays: 326 pixels per inch on the iPhone 11 and 393 PPI on Note 20. The pixel density indicates how much information the display holds every inch, and a higher number indicates that the display has high definition and does not tend to display granular images in interfaces and text.
The two products also differ in terms of screen technology. Galaxy Note 20 has a Super AMOLED Plus display. Also, the iPhone 11 features an IPS display: the user can expect more intense contrasts and more vibrant colors in Samsung, while the iPhone 11 is expected to register higher color accuracy rates.
The design of the two phones is also quite different. The Galaxy Note 20 is larger and has more moderate lines, and is available in bronze, green, and gray. The iPhone 11 uses a wide variety of vibrant colors: there are options in white, yellow, green, and purple, in addition to the traditional white and black.
Both devices have IP68 certification, which guarantees resistance to water and dust.
Camera

Galaxy Note 20 comes with a more advanced photo set. Samsung’s phone carries a triple rear camera with a 12 MP main sensor with f/1.8 focal length, a telephoto lens with 64 MP (f/2.0), and an ultra-wide (wide angle) 120° with f/2.2 aperture also 12 MP.
In terms of features, Samsung’s mobile phone has access to the brand’s camera app with improvements in artificial intelligence, filters, and professional mode, which frees up the fine adjustment of sensors. The 12 and 64 MP cameras offer optical image stabilization to prevent video and photo blur.
On Apple’s side, the iPhone 11 comes with a dual camera – two 12 MP sensors. What changes between the two is the lens profile: one is ultra-wide with an f/2.4 aperture, while the other is an angle with f/1.8.
Like Samsung, Apple has a robust camera application with a high level of features. Besides typical tools such as filters and portrait mode support, there are modes to capture short videos and Smart HDR to enhance the color, brightness, and contrast of photos.
For selfies, the Apple phone comes with a 12 MP (f/2.2) camera that performs facial recognition through Face ID. On Samsung’s side, the selfies are captured by a less powerful 10 MP sensor with an f/2.2 focal aperture.
Performance and Storage

The iPhone 11 stands out in the datasheet because it offers the A13 Bionic processor, developed by Apple. The chip even outperformed computer components. The A13 is a hexacore that works with two high-speed cores of up to 2.65 GHz, indicated for running more demanding tasks, and four other 1.8 GHz that save energy and are intended for less demanding processes.
In Galaxy Note 20, the processor should also do well. The Exynos 990 is developed by Samsung but tends to be below its direct rivals in performance comparisons. The unit is octa-core and works with two high-performance cores up to 2.73 GHz, two mid-range cores at 2.5 GHz, and four lower-performance 2 GHz cores, but promises greater energy efficiency.
In RAM, the two devices are also very different. Samsung offers the Galaxy Note 20 with 8 GB, which is twice the capacity found on the iPhone. The RAM is designed to store data and open apps in the background.
In storage, Apple offers the iPhone 11 in options with 64, 128, and 256 GB of space, all without the option of using a microSD memory card. The Samsung mobile phone comes with only 256 GB of space and also has no input for memory cards.
Battery
According to Apple, the mobile phone has autonomy for 17 hours of video playback. The company does not disclose the exact battery capacity, but specialized sites report that the iPhone 11 has a component of 3,110 mAh.
The battery of the Galaxy Note 20 is more powerful, with 4,300 mAh. Samsung does not give a precise estimate of the autonomy of the device and simply states that the maximum charge of the component is enough for a full day of use. Also, both mobile phones support fast, wireless charging.
System and Additional features
The two phones differ greatly in the system. The iPhone 11 arrived with iOS 13 but has already been released for the 14 edition of Apple’s mobile phone system, besides the guarantee of years of quick updates.
Galaxy Note 10 reaches the user with Android 10 installed. The interface is the One UI 2.5, owned by Samsung, with extensive support for the use of the S-Pen, which comes with the phone. In the case of South Korean company mobile phones, the consumer can expect updates for at least two years.
Both models are very current for wireless connectivity. There are NFC and Wi-Fi 6 in both, plus Bluetooth 5.0. However, neither of the two smartphones has a traditional (P2) headset output.
In biometrics, the consumer finds only facial recognition through Face ID on the iPhone. Galaxy Note 20 has facial recognition and an excellent fingerprint reader integrated into the screen itself.
Price and Availability
Galaxy Note 20 is the most recent and it can already be found for numbers that start from $748. The iPhone 11 arrived in October 2019, but it is already seen for values at $729.
