In this model, we have 12th generation Intel Core processors well accompanied by DDR5 RAM, but there is also a strong commitment to the creators -or gamers- with optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics.

A classic laptop at its best
There are no revolutions in the Dell Inspiron Plus family. We are dealing with equipment with a weighty and classic design in which the 16:10 format screens stand out, allowing you to scratch some pixels in the vertical resolution and are remarkable for resolution and Dolby Vision support (HDR) but not so much for a maximum brightness of 300 nits.
The Inspiron Plus series comes equipped with ComfortView Plus hardware, a low blue light solution that reduces harmful blue light emissions without sacrificing true color. In addition, with its dimming technology that reduces flicker, the eyes will not suffer the consequences of long periods in front of the computer, according to the manufacturer.
The built-in FHD webcam features a temporal noise reduction system and HDR support. Dual microphones with echo cancellation and AI-based noise reduction to reduce background noise also help with video conferencing. We also have a webcam privacy shutter.
The Inspiron 16 Plus audio features Dolby Atmos support. This device has four speakers, two “up-firing” and two “down-firing” to provide loud, clear, and undamped sound, according to the manufacturer.
That screen diagonal gives plenty of room for the full-size keyboard and touchpad. That touchpad, which almost completely camouflages the design of the device, is also very spacious. The hand rest and touchpad, made of edge-to-edge material, provide a smooth work surface.
The hardware configuration is based on high-performance Intel Core i7-21700H processors, accompanied by up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD. The starting graphics are the Intel Iris Xe on these chips, but we will also be able to opt for an RTX 3050 or even an RTX 3060 that will allow for headroom in both content creation and even gaming.
The port selection is interesting because of this clear commitment to USB-A ports above even the single USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 interface. The presence of the HDMI 2.0 port and the SD or MicroSD reader (if we opt for the model with the RTX 3060) completes a decent offer.
The Inspiron range brings more models
In addition to the aforementioned model, Dell has introduced the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus with similar features but in a more compact form factor.
We also have the “non Plus” Inspiron 13, 14, 16 inches, and even an Inspiron 2 in 1. All of them have Windows 11, 12th generation Intel Core processors, or AMD Ryzen 5000 with AMD Radeon graphics.
All of them have 16:10 format screens with narrow borders. Resolutions vary, but these devices feature a FullHD webcam and dual microphones with noise reduction technology.
For added flexibility, the new Inspiron 14 2-in-1 has a touch panel that is 14% larger than its predecessor, providing additional space for navigation. There is also support for the active pen, with which we can take notes or draw when using the computer in tablet mode.
