Downloading the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Open Beta is a simple process. The new version of Activision’s annual franchise comes on November 13th for PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5 (PS5), and Xbox Series X/S, marking the fifth visit to the Black Ops universe, and it’s already possible to experience online gameplay on eight different maps.
Available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Battle.net), the open beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War runs from October 17-19, and can be downloaded for free from the platform game stores.
Those who play still get an exclusive skin on Call of Duty Mobile, and can unlock an epic weapons diagram if they reach level 10.

PlayStation 4
Step 1: Access the PlayStation Store from the PS4 main menu and select the search tool at the top of the screen (or press the triangle);
Step 2: Search for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Open the Beta by typing the game name with the virtual keyboard. Choose the game on the right side of the screen and press “X” to proceed;
Step 3: On the game screen, press the button “Download” to start the transfer. After the download, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Open Beta will be installed automatically on your PS4 and will be available to play until October 19.
Xbox One
Step 1: Go to the Xbox One game store and search for the open beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Find the game in the list;
Step 2: Press the Get button to start downloading the game to your Xbox One. After the download, the game will be installed and can be played until October 19.
PC (Battle.Net)
Step 1: Once logged into Battle.net, locate the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Open Beta in the list on the left side of the screen. Press the blue “Install” button to start the free download;
Step 2: Confirm the location of the game installed on your computer and press the blue “Start installation” button. After the download, the game will be installed automatically and can be run directly by the client of Battle.net, until October 19.
