6 microphones and up to 21 hours of battery life
With a particular finish in blue and black tones, the B&O Beoplay EX are in-ear headphones with adaptive active noise cancellation. The change to an AirPods style is also accompanied by an improvement in its resistance, achieving IP57 water and dust resistance.
Inside is a 9.2-millimeter neodymium unit, the largest to date in a Bang & Olufsen TWS headphone. By comparison, last year’s EQs were only 6.8 mm. The new headphones are nevertheless lighter, weighing in at 6 grams.
Connectivity has been improved to offer multipoint support and Bluetooth 5.2. Regarding calls, we have up to 6 microphones that will eliminate outside noise to improve noise cancellation, also in calls.
All these options will be controllable from the mobile application. The Beoplay EX headphones can be quickly connected with Google, Apple, and Microsoft fast synchronization functions.
For the battery, each headset includes 70 mAh that promises up to 6 hours with noise cancellation activated and up to 8 hours without it. If we complement it with the charging case, we can get up to 21 hours of playback.
The charging case features 380 mAh and allows you to recharge the headphones in 1.5 hours. It also supports Qi wireless charging. As the company explains, fast charging and 20 minutes will be enough to get about 1.75 hours of playback.
